During the COVID-19 pandemic and in the age of social distancing, the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles has moved another concert scheduled for this year into 2021.

Aaron Lewis and his State I'm In Tour was originally scheduled for June 13, but that was postponed. Then, the Golden Nugget rescheduled the concert again for September, but that date was also postponed.

The new date for the rocker turned country music artist is now set for Friday, March 12, 2021 in the Nugget's Grand Event Center. Tickets that have been purchased for the previous dates will be honored.

Unfortunately, this is not the only concert that has had to be moved or canceled. Due to the death of country legend Charlie Daniels, his concert scheduled for March 26, 2021 has been understandably canceled.

Other country concerts that have been postponed in 2020 and moved to 2021 are Mark Chesnutt, with a new date of May 7, 2021, and Ron White, with a new date of February 13, 2021. We learned earlier this week that local favorite Frank Foster is coming to the lake area in October.

Hopefully, things will get back to normal so we can start seeing live entertainment again soon.
