Breaux Bridge, Louisiana [KNGT-FM] - In Louisiana, there is a festival for just about anything that flies in the air, swims in the water, or food that is cooked that is unique to Louisiana. Such is the case this weekend as the city of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, is set to hold its annual crawfish festival.

It is three days of live music on several stages throughout the weekend, with all the big-name artists you know and love from Louisiana. The legendary Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival traces its roots back to 1960, when it first took shape as an extension of the town’s centennial celebration.

Just a year earlier, in 1959, the Louisiana Legislature officially crowned Breaux Bridge as the “Crawfish Capital of the World,” setting the stage for what would become one of Louisiana’s most iconic traditions.
