City of Sulphur Issues Warning About Loud Noises Incoming Thursday Evening

If you live in the City of Sulphur, you might hear a few LOUD NOISES tonight, but there is no reason to fret. This Morning, the City of Sulphur released a press release regarding everything about the situation.

Scheduled to begin tonight, the Jennie Finch World Series promises to bring together talented young athletes from across the nation for a thrilling display of softball prowess. As teams compete and fans cheer on their favorites, it's natural to expect a certain level of noise associated with such an event.

The Jennie Finch World Series will continue through June 16th at North Frasch Softball Complex & Pattison Park.

With that, the Lake Charles Buccaneers will be firing off cannons throughout the event, so that will be the loud noises that you will be hearing, so no need to fret.

Residents near the North Frasch Softball Complex should not be alarmed by sudden loud noises from 6:00PM to 8:00PM this evening. Residents may hear the sound of the Lake Charles Buccaneers firing a cannon to signify the beginning of the Jennie Finch World Series Tournament.
