Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators Hosting College Night This Week

The inaugural season for the Lake Charles Gumbeaux Gators is off and running and it has truly become a massive hit here in Southwest Louisiana. The fun and excitement with the Gumbeaux Gators continues this week as it includes Free Admission for college students!

Coming into the week, the Gators are on a 3-game winning streak and will finally return home to Joe Miller Ballpark at McNeese this week. The return to Joe Miller Ballpark means alcohol sales are BACK, so come on out to enjoy some ice-cold beer or mixed drinks and catch a thrilling minor-league baseball experience!

Tuesday, June 25th is Youth Sports Night, where all youth athletes who wear their team’s jersey will receive FREE admission into the game. Also, all tournament and little league teams from the area are invited to join us with a special pregame on-field parade around the warning track!

If you're a college student, you will want to mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 26th as it will be College Night. All college students can get in FREE with a valid student ID. McNeese Men’s Basketball coach Will Wade and Football coach Gary Goff will both be throwing the first pitch, so make sure to get there early to see it! Members of the Basketball and Football teams will be in attendance as well. Fans can also enjoy Bingo Night, where upon entry you can scan a QR code and fill out a bingo card throughout the game for a chance to win prizes.
