The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury has announced the reopening of two splash pads to help kids beat the heat this summer. Starting today the water splash pads at Prien Lake Park at 3700 West Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles and River Bluff Park at 543 Theriot Road in Moss Bluff, are now open.

Like most of the city parks, both locations are managed by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. The newly renovated public water spots were provide local families with the perfect way to a hot day. According to the park management, the water splash pad hours of operation are as follows:

Prien Lake Park - 5 a.m.- 11 p.m. daily.

River Bluff Park - 7 a.m.- 9 p.m. daily.
