Drew Brees is returning to New Orleans on Thanksgiving day and will be honored by the organization and the fans while he is there. Drew Brees retired last year from the Saints after playing there for 15 years and winning a Super Bowl for the organization.

Drew Brees joined the NBC sports team this season and will return to the Superdome to call the Saints football game on Thanksgiving day with Mike Tirico on NBC.

The Saints will take on the Bills on Thanksgiving day and since Brees will be there calling the game, the team will honor him at halftime.

At halftime, there will be a presentation for Drew Brees as he will be honored. Each fan in attendance will receive a Thank You Drew towel to wave throughout the game and especially during the halftime show.

They are also planning to play a video tribute to Drew Brees during the halftime presentation.

The Saints, currently 5-4 on the season, have lost their last two games. They sit in second place in the NFC South just behind the Tampa Bay Bucs who they beat a few weeks back.

The Saints will face the Eagles this Sunday in Philly before taking on the Bills on Thanksgiving night at 7:20 pm on NBC.  Like we said earlier, it will be kind of cool to hear Drew Brees call a football game especially when it's with his old team.
