Gyth Rigdon and His Wife Announce Arrival of Baby Girl

Local Country music artist and Singer native, Gyth Rigdon, and his wife Bayleigh announced via the artist's Facebook page that they have welcomed their first child.

Gyth and Bayleigh announced the birth of their girl they have named Ivy Ray Rigdon, born on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 1:39pm. The singer also included the details on how much Ivy weighed, which was 6lbs 12oz and she was 19 inches long.

The birth also made national news in a People Magazine feature. Most people in Southwest Louisiana have known Gyth for years as he has played local bars, benefits, and festivals in the area.

Last year, the nation found out who Gyth Rigdon was when he auditioned for NBC's show, The Voice. Gyth made it all the way to the finale before coming in as the runner up.
