Koe Wetzel is surrounded by flames, has his amps turned all the way up, and doesn't give a f**k. He leaves a trail of empty alcohol bottles, screaming fans, and sold-out venues in his path wherever he goes.

Koe Wetzel is a country and rock fusion. Ropyr Madison Koe Wetzel is his real name. Wetzel was named after outlaw country singer-songwriter David Allan Coe, and he was born in Pittsburg, Texas.

His father worked in construction, and his mother was a traveling country singer who took the young Koe with her. At six years old, he would make his stage debut. Later, while playing linebacker for Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, Wetzel decided to give up football in favor of a music career.

Wetzel started "Koe Wetzel and Konvicts" and put out one full-length album and one EP on his own. College students and young people took a liking to his "rowdy" music and lyrics, and his 2016 album Noise Complaint was hailed as a breakthrough release.

Wetzel has released five studio albums so far. Out On Parole, Noise Complaint, Harold Saul High, Sellout, and Hell Paso.

Wetzel has subtly established himself as the quintessential country rock star, destroying barriers between rain-soaked Seattle hard rock, raucous Texas attitude, and Nashville songwriting. He's a rising star in the music industry who moved a million copies under the radar before making his big debut as one of the hottest live acts of 2022 with Hell Paso [Columbia Record].
