Lake Charles Announces Transit And Garbage Collection Remains Open

With all the closures happening all over Southwest Louisiana due to the coronavirus, people are wondering what services are still available.

The City Of Lake Charles has announced that the transit and garbage and trash collections will remain open and run their regular routes.

Lake Charles City Hall remains open with regular hours Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Water bill payments and permit applications can be completed securely online at www.cityoflakecharles.com.

Historic City Hall and Lake Charles Civic Center are closed to the public.
