A new study predicts that Louisiana will be one of the most sexually active states in the U.S. in 2026. The Pelican State is ranked tenth, thanks in part to having the fifth-highest fertility rate in the country at 1.83 and a lower cost of living that appeals to young families.

DuelBits Odds For Most Sexually Active States For 2026
The study comes from DuelBits, a prediction market that allows people to bet on which states will experience the most births. Louisiana’s odds are +6600, behind top-ranked South Dakota (+225), Utah (+275), North Dakota (+600), Nebraska (+1000), and Idaho (+1800).
