Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - If you've driven down Lakeshore Drive early in the morning, you've probably noticed two police officers directing traffic and wondered what was going on. Curiosity got the best of me, so I stopped and asked.

It turns out the officers are there to help buses safely exit the parking areas near Pine and Pryce streets. The buses transport workers heading south to construction and operations sites in Cameron, Louisiana, at the LNG facilities.

With dozens of buses leaving during the morning rush, officers assist with traffic flow and help keep commuters moving safely along one of Lake Charles' busiest routes. But hold on, it's not just Lake Charles that has these police officers helping with traffic flow.
