“Object” Stuck to Sulphur WPA Rd Sign. It’s What You Think It Is!
Obviously, this one isn't exactly for the kids, but how could I NOT write about this? I've seen some weird things around the streets of SWLA. I have seen weird things stuck to buildings, windows, and signs. Graffiti on trains, and random objects discarded on the side of the road, especially after Mardi Gras. NEVER have I seen such an object stuck to an actual street sign. Perhaps I just haven't been at the right place at the right time. Now, I can say I have seen a sign in a "stiff" situation.
Either way, good job to all involved in the manufacturing process of the unmentionable object. Imagine looking left and right to turn as we learned on Sesame Street, and this is the first thing you see in your face before getting that first cup of coffee down and the kids are screaming in the back asking what that thing is. I would think it would be "hard" to pay attention to any oncoming traffic as you squint to see if what you are seeing is indeed what you are seeing. Then, how do you explain to the kids what it is they are seeing? I guess you could just say it's a perch for birds. That might work up to a certain age group
The poster of the photo observed the object "hanging" out first thing this morning. A commenter ran by a few hours later and found it still there "flapping" in the breeze like your grandmother's porch flag pole welcoming in fall and pumpkin spice season. It certainly is spicy for sure.
I guess if it stays, not only will it be a landmark for residents in the area, but we can change the abbreviation to mean "Whole P***s Attached". For anyone that might try and go take it off the sign, please keep in mind that they have specific soaps for these types of items, and they should be cleaned accordingly. Not really something you just want to dust off and use. I wonder how "hard" it will be to get off. Ok, I'm done.
