One Lane Closed On I-10 Eastbound, Traffic Being Diverted

We have some traffic news to report this morning. The Louisiana State Police have just contacted us and informed us that I-10 Eastbound at mile marker 3 in Vinton is down to one lane.

Vehicles traveling in from the Southeast Texas area will need to be aware of traffic slowed down or stopped right after you cross the Texas/Louisiana state line. The reason for the traffic issue is that there is a flipped-over 18-wheeler at that location.

The Louisiana Sater Police advised that if you are going to travel through the area, stay in the right lane because that is the one that is currently open.

You can get off the interstate in Orange, Texas, and head north if you want to avoid the traffic backup.
