Last night Southwest Louisiana showed up strong at Cowboys night club for the 2nd annual Bouboyz Entertainment holiday bash.  The club was full of country music fans ready to see the legendary country music group Shenandoah live in concert.

Me and my co-host Emily were the emcee's for the event.  The evening started off with an acoustic set by the talented Bryan Martin followed by David Joel and his band.  Let me tell you David and Bryan has the joint rocking!

Then 12 year old Paige Red from DeQuincy Louisiana took the stage and floored the crowd with her rendition of the Charlie Daniels Band's "Long Haired Country Boy".  She really rocked it.

Then Brad Brinkley and Greg Blanchard took the stage and played all your favorite classic country favorites from Gary Stewart, Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings and of course they sang their original hits as well.

Me and Emily had a chance to go backstage and meet and hang out with Marty Raybon the lead singer of Shenandoah!  Here are some pictures.

Here I am with Marty Raybon just after he signed my Guitar.  Let me tell you, we talked to him on the air and do you know he remembered our names and was one of the most gracious guys ever!

Then Shenandoah took the stage and right of the bat they sang there number one hit "Next to you, ,Next To me".  then they were off and running and rolled through their 13 number one hits like "Sunday in the South, Moon over Georgia, Ghost in this House and Two Dozens Roses."  Fun was had by all and the night was full of laughs, dancing and singing.

Happy Holidays everyone.  Remember next up for us is Lundi Gras with Keith Frank on February 8th, 2016 so make your plans early!
