The Saints will face frigid conditions when they play the Philadelphia Eagles at home this Saturday. Temperatures will never eclipse the freezing mark Saturday as both teams begin the playoffs.

The good news is that no snow is expected. The high Saturday in Philly is expected to be 31 with a low of 23. The kickoff is scheduled for 7:10 pm and temperatures will be falling during the game. With temperatures that low ... a football feels like a brick. That does not bode well for the Saints who are number two in passing but are only number 25 in rushing. The good news is that the Eagles are number 29th in overall defense, 32nd against the pass and 10th against the rush.

The other good news is that Drew Brees played his college ball at Purdue and certainly saw his share of cold weather games.
