This will be the fourth time the Saints have played a regular-season game outside the United States. They have played three times before in London. Now, they will help bring the NFL to France for the very first time.

"It is a privilege for the New Orleans Saints to take part in the NFL's first regular season game in France," Saints Owner Gayle Benson said. "Louisiana's relationship with France is centuries deep, and this game represents another meaningful step in strengthening those cultural and economic ties. The Saints are also proud to partner with the NFL's flag football initiatives in France, which have grown rapidly and now engage thousands of young athletes," said Benson in a release from the Saints.

The Saints already have strong ties to France. In 2023, the National Football League gave the team special rights to help grow the sport in the country. Since then, the team has helped bring football programs to young players in France.

This game is part of the NFL’s plan to grow the sport around the world. In 2026, the league plans to play games in several countries, including England, Germany, Spain, Brazil, and Mexico.

According to NOLA.com, season-ticket holders will be given a 10% price reduction on tickets and parking to reflect the cost of the lost game on the home schedule. Fully paid season ticket holders will receive a credit and refund. Season ticket holders also will be allowed priority presale access to a lottery for tickets for the Paris game.
