As we enter into the new year there are some activities that are already on the way for the new year. If you want to experience something new, how about checking out a little bit of culture for Lake Charles. On January, 28 there will be two concerts by Solero Flamenco performing inside the Historic City Hall Arts and Cultural Center. There will be performances that will feature songs, guitars, and dances that will be improvised.

Admission for the event is free, but the event is limited to 100 guests in accordance with COVID-19 safety guidelines. Prior to the performance, visitors are invited to sample traditional Spanish dishes and there will be an exhibit on view at Historic City Hall entitled "Flamenco: From Spain to the U.S.", The exhibit will be on display until March 12, 2022, inside the Historic City Hall.

The Performances are planned for 5:30 p.m. with an opening reception beginning at 4:30 p.m. The second performance will follow at 7:30 p.m. with the reception beginning at 6:30 p.m.
