SWLA Game of the Week Playoff Edition: Quarterfinal Round
If your team has made it to practice on Thanksgiving Week, that is a HUGE accomplishment. Not many teams get the opportunity to do so. For the quarterfinals of the 2023 LHSAA Playoffs, Southwest Louisiana will be represented strongly. This week on our Southwest Louisiana Game of the Week Driven by Lake Charles Toyota, we will be heading out of town for a big matchup!
Last week on our Game of the Week, we went to Iowa as the 8-seeded Yellow Jackets hosted the 9-seeded Plaquemine Green Devils. Coming into the matchup, it would be all about how Iowa's offense would fair against the stout Plaquemine defense. From start to finish, the Yellow Jackets had no trouble as they would roll to a 39-19 win.

For the Quarterfinals, the Southwest Louisiana Game of the Week Driven by Lake Charles Toyota will be taking a road trip and following the Iowa Yellow Jackets as they look for revenge on the team who knocked them out of the playoffs just last year, the North Desoto Griffins.
