The Lost Hollows Lake Charles Is Back and Scarier Than Ever!
Every Friday and Saturday in October just got a bit more spook-tacular as the Lake Charles famed haunted trail, The Lost Hollows, announces its return. There had been rumors that it may not come back after having to shut down for COVID-19 and then two hurricanes. Recently quite a few people have asked me if it was ever going to return. Now, we can say it's back!
To explain it the best, this is the one you always see people going to in Lake Charles that you have to park in a parking lot and then take a hayride into the woods. After the hayride, you get dropped off at the Deadly Pines trail, the scariest woods in SWLA. As you make your way through the woods, you begin to face your darkest fears as you encounter ghouls, monsters, and goblins at every turn. Lost Hollows says on average the trail takes 45 minutes to complete, but if you get scared you can do it in 20 by sprinting the whole way through it.
Tickets are on sale now for all of the dates that the trail will be open. Tickets start at $25 with the option to purchase a fast pass for $38. The fast pass lets you skip the lines for the shuttle and the line to get on the trail when you arrive. The trail does offer cheaper group rates with 20 or more, but the trail must be contacted at least two days in advance to set it all up for ticketing.
