Things To Do In Lake Charles And SWLA For The New Year’s Weekend
Well, it's the last weekend of the year and it's a big one. The New Year's weekend is here and people will be looking to get out with friends and family and ring in the new year with something fun to do.
We did some snooping around and found a bunch of things going on this weekend for your holiday celebration.
The Blue Martini inside the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles will be having a Mad Hatter Ball on Saturday night featuring Satellite and DJ Fuzzy.
Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana will have a New Year's Eve celebration with party favors, confetti, and a champagne toast at midnight.
The Spot located at 5402 Common Street in Lake Charles will have Brent Beaudeaux live Friday night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Doc Wilder will be live at Mellow Mushroom on Ryan Street in Lake Charles Friday night starting at 6:00 pm.
Jen Kober will be having her New Year's Eve comedy extravaganza on Saturday night at Bodega Wine Bar located on Country Club Road in Lake Charles starting at 7:00 pm.
Koozies Daquris and Sports bar located at 2622 Highway 14 in south Lake Charles will have Courtney Kay on Friday night from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm and DJ Crazy Dave for New Year's Eve on Saturday night.
There are two Farmer's Markets going on Saturday.
- The one in Lake Charles and one in Moss Bluff. The one in Lake Charles is located on Bilbo Street by the historic city hall in downtown Lake Charles and runs from 8:00 am to Noon.
- The one in Moss Bluff is located at 325 Sam Houston Jones Pkwy in Moss Bluff and also runs from 8:00 am until Noon.
