High School and College football gets underway tonight and runs through this weekend. For all you Tigers fans out there, LSU will play Sunday night in New Orleans against Florida State. Kick-off for the game is set for 6:30 pm and will be televised on ABC.
The Golden Nugget in Lake Charles will have comedian Ron White Tonight, Friday, September 2nd. He takes the stage at 8:30 pm inside the Grand Event Center.
Both Cinemark theaters in Lake Charles are offering movie-goers a chance to see a movie for only $3! It happens this Saturday, September 3rd for National Cinema Day.
Koozie's Daquiris and Sports bar located at 2622 Highway 14 in Lake Charles will have country artist Blake Pickle playing from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm tonight and will have DJ Kedspinzhitz on Saturday night and will be playing from 8:00 pm to Midnight.
“Meet Me at the Market” is held on the first Saturday of every month on the grounds of Historic City Hall in downtown Lake Charles and features food trucks, live music, arts and crafts paintings, glasswork, jewelry, ceramics, and a farmers market on Bilbo Street directly behind Historic City Hall. It is open this Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
