Country legend, Charlie Pride, was recently honored with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. He was given this honor due to the walls he broke down during his career as an upcoming black country music singer. He spent 50 years singing hits and winning awards throughout his entire career.

The night of the CMA Awards, Pride stepped on stage to sing one of his greatest hit songs during his 50 years in the business. Kiss an Angel Good Mornin' was a huge hit for Pride in 1971, as it screamed its way to the top of the charts that year. Not only did his sing it, but he was also joined on stage with a rising country star, Jimmie Allen. The duo took turns and then joined together in harmony as they finished out Pride's hit.

Pride's career doesn't seem to be slowing down. He already collaborated with Garth Brooks for Brooks' upcoming album Fun that will be released this Friday.
