Mike Soileau Takes Show On The Road Giving Away Superfest Tickets

Yesterday, I stepped out of the studio and took my show on the road to In & Out phone repair in front of the Prien Lake road. While i was there, listeners had the opportunity to register to win tickets for the Bayou Country Superfest which is this weekend at Tigers Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The Superfest is chopped full of huge Country music artists like Kenny Chesney, Brantley Gilbert, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton to just name a few.

Jason LeBlanc and I also took to the sidewalk and cooked a pork and sausage jambalaya for all who came by to register. You can see the pot just a cooking in the picture above.

While I was broadcasting live I also told the listeners that the next person that came by, I would give them the opportunity to sing for their seats. Well Josh from Lake Charles stopped by and did just that. He was told he could pick any artist that was playing at the Bayou Country Superfest and sing one of their songs. Josh picked Blake Shelton's first number one song "Austin".

I played a part of the song and then Josh had to finish the next line. He did great! Here is the video from Josh singing for his seats!

We also drew a name around 6:50 pm and congrats to Mary from Lake Charles who won tickets to Sunday's performance at the Superfest! Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday!
