1967 Recording From City Of Lake Charles Time Capsule [LISTEN]

The Centennial Time Capsule, buried in 1967, was unearthed at 1911 Historic City Hall, 1001 Ryan Street, on May 26, 2017.

The capsule housed numerous items;  some including Centennial coins and souvenirs, tape recorded messages to the Governor in 2017 from then Governor John McKeithen (1967) and to the Mayor of 2017 from then Mayor James Sudduth (1967).
