A Billboard Gives Hint Of When Whataburger Will Open In Lake Charles
The million-dollar question everyone has been asking and wondering over the past year now is when is the Whataburger in Lake Charles going to actually open. We have seen reports that it is coming to Lake Charles but nobody seems to know any more than that.
We have seen the Whataburger in Leesville and Deridder being built and are both now open but we all wanted to know when they would move South and start building the ones in Sulphur and Lake Charles.
We have seen a few pictures here and there that there is some progress being made at the site of the Sulphur location where Whataburger will be built. We have seen photos of the land being cleared and there is even a container on the property now with a Whataburger logo banner on it.
So it looks like Sulphur will be the next location of Whataburger to be built and opened. But the burning question still is when will they start construction at the new Lake Charles location? We have some news for you.
We were driving around Lake Charles this week when we noticed a bright orange sign on a digital billboard with a Whataburger logo. It was located on Common Street just South of McNeese Street. Of course, it stopped us in our tracks and we stopped to see what it said. Here is what the sign said!
So it looks like the Whataburger in Lake Charles will be here in the Fall of 2023. That is only a few short months away y'all. We don't know this for a fact but we are assuming they will start building the restaurant in Lake Charles after they finish the one in Sulphur seeing that is how it has been rolling so far.
