39th Cajun Music & Food Festival Set for July 18 In Lake Charles

Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - A longtime Southwest Louisiana tradition is returning this weekend as the 39th Annual Cajun Music and Food Festival prepares to welcome visitors to Lake Charles for a full day of music, dancing, and authentic Cajun culture.

Hosted by the Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association, the annual celebration has become one of the region's signature summer events.

Every year, festivalgoers gather at Burton Coliseum to enjoy live performances from talented Cajun musicians, savor traditional Louisiana dishes, and celebrate the rich heritage that makes Acadiana and Southwest Louisiana unique.

The 2026 festival is set for Saturday, July 18, with activities beginning at 8:00 a.m. and continuing throughout the day until 8:00 p.m. Organizers have also revealed this year's entertainment lineup, promising another exciting schedule of live music that will keep dancers on the floor from morning until evening.
