Soon there will be a new crop of police officers on the road as the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced that their law enforcement training academy will hold graduation for the 115th class.

The CPSO training academy accommodates police officers from the 5 parish area.

According to Kim Myers with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s office, law enforcement agencies from several city and parishes will be represented at the graduation.

Forty-one (41) cadets representing Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office, Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, Cameron Parish Sheriff’s Office, DeQuincy Police Department, DeRidder Police Department, Harbor Police Department, Iowa Police Department, Jennings Police Department, Lake Charles Police Department, Merryville Police Department, New Llano Police Department, Oakdale Police Department, Sulphur Police Department, Ward 4 Marshal’s Office, and Westlake Police Department are participating in this graduating class.

 

The CPSO Training Academy graduation ceremony will be on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in the Contraband Room on the 2nd floor at the Lake Charles Civic Center.
