CPSO Finds Body in Trunk of Car, Story Gets Even Crazier
CPSO received a call at 9:30pm last night about a dead body in the truck of a car that a woman was driving around with. The car was located by the CPSO on N. Franklin St. in Lake Charles and stopped. As they searched the car, they came across the dead body of a woman in the trunk.
Here's where the story goes epically Hollywood on us. The driver, 24 year old Sarah Parker, had a passenger. 22 year old Logan Kyle is an active duty soldier in Fort Polk, LA and is also the husband to the woman who was in Parker's trunk. As the CPSO began their investigation into the story that seems like it should be on the ID channel, they allege Kyle had killed his wife and the two were attempting to dispose of the body. According to CPSO, Parker was aware Kyle had killed his wife and that her body was in the trunk.
If you're still reading, there's an even bigger twist. Not only was the car occupied by Parker and Kyle, but Kyle had his 2 kids with them as well, ages 1 and 2. The children were turned over to the Dept. of Children and Family Services.
Parker, the driver of the car, was arrested and charged with failure to report a homicide and obstruction of justice. Kyle was turned over to the U.S. Army CID, since the homicide happened at Fort Polk.
