Country music recording artist and local South Louisiana boy, Dustin Sonnier, has released another single from his latest album, and it's available now. It's called Missin' You Mississippi and is off of his latest album, Between the Stones and Jones. The single is the the next in a long line of great songs coming off this album.

Dustin released the album last year in 2019 and in its first week of release, it rocketed up the iTunes Country charts, landing at #4. Dustin even received national recognition for the album from a major country music magazine.

Do you know how hard that is for an independent artists to not only get air play on the radio but to battle it out with national Country artists who have big backing from major record labels in Nashville? It's almost impossible, but Dustin managed to do it.

Dustin's voice is straight up a classic Country sound. He is a lover of old school Country and he even makes sure to include a classic Country song on his album. His latest album includes the Conway Twitty hit, Slow Hand. Dustin also plays a ton of classic Country in his live shows, from Conway Twitty to '80s and '90s Country artists like John Anderson.

The new single was released to radio and all major music platforms for purchase last Monday, August 19. It is a great ballad about how he couldn't satisfy his love with his simple way of life, and she just had to go off to discover that large city living while he sits there missing her. Here is the the song.
