The New Orleans Saints' last preseason game is this Sunday night, August 27th, 2023 and the black and gold have looked pretty good so far in the 2023 preseason.

In the first game, fans got to see new Saints quarterback Derek Carr in action for one series and that's it. After that, Winston came in along with other backups. The Saints won their first preseason game over the defending Superbowl champion Kansas City Chiefs with a last-second field goal to prevail 26-24.

Then last Sunday, the Saints were on the road taken on the Los Angeles Chargers. Saints fans didn't get to see Carr in action because Winston started the game. Even after a tropical storm and an earthquake in the LA area, the Saints Chargers game got underway and the black and gold won that game too, 22-17.

That makes the Saints 2-0 on the preseason heading into their third and final game of the preseason. They will host the Houston Texans in the Big Easy this Sunday night. The Texans are 1-1 in the preseason.

They beat the New England Patriots in the first week 20-9 only to lose to the Miami Dolphins 28-3 the next week. Now both teams will square off Sunday night in a primetime game.

Don't worry if you don't have the NFL Network or Amazon Prime where some of the NFL preseason games have been being aired lately because the Texans and Saints game will be televised nationally on FOX.  The game has a 7:00 p.m. kick-off time.
