Election day is November 8th, Louisiana. It's time to geaux vote!

But, before you rock the vote you need to get yourself registered and the registration deadline is October 11th, so it's time to get a move on.

Registering to vote in Louisiana is can be done three different ways, in person, by mail, or online. With so many options you have no excuse not to vote in the 2016 election.

And, you know what, I'm going to make things easier for you. I've found all of the links and information you need to register, so now you really have no excuse!

If you want to get registered to vote in person all you need to do is pick up the voter registration form from any of the following locations:

  • Any Registrar of Voters office
  • Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles
  • Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services
  • Any Louisiana public assistance agency that administers or provides services under the food stamp, Medicaid, WIC, FITAP programs
  • Offices serving persons with disabilities
  • Military recruitment offices

Then you just fill out the registration from and return it by October 11th.

Maybe you want to mail in your registration, that's an option too. You can take the voter registration that you picked up at any of the above locations, fill it out, and send it to your Parish registrars office by October 11th. Or, you can print out the voter registration and send it in.

Or, if you want to make your life even easier, you can register to vote online by going to the Louisiana Secretary of State website , but be sure to do it before October 11th!
