Is a Golden Corral Coming to Lake Charles?

Facebook was buzzing over the weekend with a rumor about a Golden Corral possible coming to Lake Charles. In 1972, the Golden Corral Family Steak House was opened in North Carolina. Over the years, the franchise has grown to over 485 restaurants in 41 states (as of 2008). It's buffet style with a giant salad bar (better watch your back Ryan's Steakhouse).

Now, it seems that they are going to add to that list and plop one here in the Lake Area. If you begin to sift through the Golden Corral Job Webpage, search for Louisiana, you'll see they are fishing for managers (General Manager, Hospitality Manager, and Kitchen Manager). The holy trinity of an up and coming place.

Who knows if it will come to fruition, but I will be the first in line to go eat!!!
