Is The I-10 Bridge A Disaster Waiting To Happen? [VIDEO]

I remember first hearing the old Cajuns talk about their fears of crossing the I-10 bridge. I thought it was silly ..... then!

When you dig deep into the current shape of the bridge, you start to think about driving around and crossing on I-210. I still cross the I-10 bridge at least twice a day. I try not to think about it but ran across some startling statistics.

The bridge was built in 1952. It features those cool pistols! It also has no lighting, no emergency lane and has a sufficiency rating 0f 24.9%. Are companies and state agencies actually telling their drivers to take I-210? I am not sure how much of this is real .... but it sure makes the drive across the bridge a little unsettling.
