In this age of social distancing and stay-at-home orders, people are looking for entertainment while staying safe.

Virtual concerts have been popping up on social media from national and local artists to entertain folks during this difficult situation. In Southwest Louisiana, local country artists have been playing not just to touch base with their fans, but also doing virtual live concerts to help organizations in SWLA.

Johnny Jimenez and his band is doing just that. Johnny is set to take over the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Louisiana's Facebook page Friday evening May 1 at 6:00pm.

The concert will be live from the BBBS office in Lake Charles. This special event is to help support the BBBS mission of creating & supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
