This past Friday my wife and I went out for dinner and after we finished, my wife noticed a sign across the street. There was a sign on a building that said, Sammy Crawfish King. I love seeing new establishments coming to the area as it gives off the anticipation for more jobs in the city and a new place for families to gather and eat.

One thing I know about Lake Charles is that they have a serious love for Crawfish and it seems like this new restaurant does it well. I did a little research and found out that they seem to be based out of Alexandria, Louisiana, and from the looks of their Facebook page, the food looks wonderful.

The location will be on Dillard Loop in Lake Charles and from the looks of the picture above, this place is going to be busy with a line going out into the streets.

While we have to wait a little while here in Lake Charles before we get the opportunity to see what some of Northern Louisiana is raving about. Here are some reviews from a few people that have gone and all I can say is while the food looks good, these reviews look even more tempting.

We didn't see a date on when they will be opening their doors, but the excitement is already there for everyone in the city. Are you ready for some more of that great Crawfish and other seafood specialties? If not, you better get ready for Sammy Crawfish King, because he is coming and will be here before you know it.
