
SWLA Easter Events: Concerts & Family Fun Guide
Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - It seems like Mardi Gras just ended, and we started Lent, but we just blinked, and Easter is already almost here. This Friday is Good Friday, and a lot of folks all over Southwest Louisiana will be off to start a long weekend.
You may have family coming in, or you may just be looking to get out of the house and do something fun on your long weekend. Now you're probably wondering what is going on in the area? That is where we come in. Here's what is going on.

The legendary rock band ZZ Top will be live in Lake Charles on Friday night, April 3rd, at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center.

Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition will be playing at Jellystone RV Park and Resort in Lake Charles this Saturday night, April 4th. Ryan and the band will be playing as part of the Eater weekend fun at the park. They will hit the stage under the pavilion starting at 7:00 pm.
Farmers' Markets are taking place all over the area this Saturday. There is one in Moss Bluff at 325 Sam Houston Jones Parkway, and one located in downtown Lake Charles on Bilbo Street behind the old Courthouse. Both Markets are open from 8:00 am to Noon on Saturday.
