Thank You to the Men and Women in Blue [VIDEO]

I don't know about you, but I get aggravated when people refer to a police officer as the "po-po." Please respect the people who risk their lives every day to serve and protect.

It's not always a picture perfect world when it comes to law enforcement in Gator Country, but I have all the respect in the world for the men and women in blue. Matter of fact, I have a few family members and a friend or two who protect and serve.

And if you think it's all about catching speed demons on Interstate 10, why don't you ask one of our law enforcement finest.

Bruce... I think it's all about intent. If someone says "popo" and they're just trying to be silly or cute that's one thing, but if they are tying to be hateful it's another thing entirely. Same with any other term.

Kayla... That is how I taught it to my kids. It is not always meant to be disrespectful.

Jennifer... Whoever made the original post here is probably thinking hmmmmmm what did I do?

Kandace... Professional instructed gun holder! That's a good one.

Jack... I do respect them and are thankful they are protecting me and my family. Just wish they made more money.
