Things To Do In Lake Charles & SWLA On July 4th Weekend

The holiday weekend is here and there is a ton of things in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana going on in the area. There are Fourth of July events going on in Moss Bluff, Lake Charles, and other cities in the area.

Plus there is a bunch of live music going on everywhere. What to do this weekend you ask? Here is a list of things going on in the area.

Moss Bluff is holding its Red, White, And Boom July 4th event in Moss Bluff, Louisiana on Saturday, July 1st. They will have all sorts of things for the kids to do, a fireworks display and live music featuring The Flamethrowers live in concert. Click HERE for full details. 

The Ward 3 Recreation is holding a really cool event called Pool Night At The Movies. Yep, you heard us right, pool and a movie! It is taking place at the Ward 3 Recreation complex located at 3210 Power Centre Parkway in Lake Charles. Details here.

Robert Randolph will be performing live at the Golden Nuggets Grand Event Center Friday, June 30th at 8:30 pm.

Johnny Jimenez will be live at Coolers Icehouse on Ryan Street In Lake Charles Friday, June 30th, 2023. Johnny will start at 9:00 pm.

Swamp Pop Sunday is taking place at the Blue Martini inside the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles. The band will be live from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm every Sunday and it's free to go.

The Spot located at 5402 Common Street in Lake Charles will have Karaoke this Sunday, July 2nd from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
