Monday evening, a car pulled into the McDonald's on Prien Lake Road and caught on fire. The green Dodge Magnum burst into flames in the drive-through lane with the fire starting under the hood. The Lake Charles Fire Department showed up on the scene and was able to get the fire under control and put it out.

Kitty reported that the driver was indeed safe and there were no injuries from the fire. That's always a good news story when everyone is safe.
