Red White Blue and You Featuring Largest Fireworks Display Ever

The Red White Blue and You celebration each year for the 4th of July has been one of my favorite events in the area for a very long time. This year, the city is boasting to have one of the largest fireworks displays its ever had. Set for 9:15pm (give or take), the fireworks will light up the sky from the water (and make your dogs go crazy).

This year, starting at 6pm, there will be the annual street parade followed by the always amazing concert at the Pavilion by the Civic Center. The program will begin at 6:45pm and run up to the time for fireworks. Music will feature Hailey and Brett Cooley, Lake Charles Community Band, and the Louisiana Choral Foundation.

In case of rain, the concert will be moved into the Civic Center Coliseum.
