Upcoming Downtown at Sundown Schedule
May 15 will be “Bayou Roots Night,” celebrating Southwest Louisiana culture. LA 99 South will kick things off with swamp pop music. Then, Cajun and zydeco artist Horace Trahan will close out the night.
The final night on May 22 is “Rock the Block.” Infinite Bus will bring high-energy rock and pop music. Louisiana Surf Department will also perform. After the concerts, a special After Glow Show will begin at 9:00 p.m. with a DJ, lights, and a 3D display on the front of Historic City Hall.

This week’s theme is still Funk & Soul Night, which features live music from Gino V. and Nebu Nezey.
“No outside food or beverages will be permitted. While lawn chairs are welcome, they will not be necessary for this indoor experience,” said Payton Lundmark, Director of Cultural Affairs. “We’re excited to offer a comfortable, weather-proof environment while keeping the energy and spirit of Downtown at Sundown alive.”
For the second consecutive week, Downtown at Sundown, scheduled for Friday, May 8th, will now be moved indoors to the Central School Arts and Humanities Center. The event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. inside the Ben Mount Auditorium and surrounding areas on the second floor.
After the event, the fun will continue at Panorama Music House, which will serve as the official after-party starting at 9:00 p.m.
Downtown at Sundown will return to its outdoor setup for future dates, depending on the weather.
