Well... it's the last day of the year 2015. This year was quite the year for my family, friends, coworkers, and me.

Personally, I was able to cross experiences off my bucket list. Not only did Erin Davison, Mike Soileau, and I get to interview Garth Brooks... we saw him in concert!

Emily J and I had the opportunity to talk with Saints QB Drew Brees about the new Walk-ons restaurant in Lake Charles! You can now check off Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Billy Currington, and Rascal Flatts off my bucket list.

I was named Grand Marshal of the 2015 Mardi Gras of Southwest Louisiana.

I turned the Big 4-0 in August.

It wasn't always an easy time this year professionally. My morning show co-hosts on Gator would change from a very talented Scott Lewis, a funny, inspirational Erin Davison, to a talented, energetic coworker and friend Emily J. All of you made a positive impact on my life and for that... I say thank you.

Change would not end there. In November, I left the Gator Morning Show to takeover the Afternoons on 99.5. I can honestly say... it was the best thing to happen to me in this business in a long time. Oh, I still struggle getting up to darn early some days... but I'm happy.

In 2015, I witnessed the most beautiful sunset in Galveston. Enjoyed some time in the Big Easy.

Want to thank Bruce Merchant for making another wish come true. I finally had the chance to see the New York Yankees in action! The Astros did win that game btw...

Returned to San Antonio and took a stroll down the Riverwalk, even made a stop at the Alamo.

And if the first 11 months weren't memory making enough... I recieved one of the best Christmas presents in some time. All four of my kids... Jonathan, Nicole, David, and Ellie were all under my roof this time around.

Why do I share all of these things with you today?

Because a year ago today... None of the following was planned. Sometimes in life... things, truly good memory making moments happen. Some all spread out thru out life. Some are crammed in one year. You can call it blessed, you can say that luck was on your side... however you look at it... don't squander the precious time, please.

Make 2016 the best year ever!

Happy New Year's Eve!
~Kris~
